Our Weekend at Horse Camp

After 2 years of selling girl scout cookies and reaching their goal of raising $2035.00, my troop FINALLY got to enjoy a weekend at a Horse Riding Camp.

It was an absolutely gorgeous weekend and a fun time was had by all (even me)!

****************

Day 10 {Skip to my lou}

After a full Friday night and even fuller Saturday, the girls happily skipped off for another fun filled day. Sleeping in a cabin, having private showers, and someone cooking yummy food for you...now that is my kind of "girl scout weekend."

Day 9 {Yee Haw......Ridem Cowgirl}

The girls had a total of 3 riding lessons over the weekend. It always amazes me to see how quickly the girls gain confidence sitting up on those giant animals.

Day 8 {The Old West}

The Ranch was set up to look like an old western town. It was so adorable. My girls however were not impressed with all the "No Women Allowed" signs.

Lovely photos, as usual. I really admire the different styles you use -- closeup phone, colored b&w skipping girls, etc. It makes reading your blog even more fun ... "What creative stuff has Michelle got today?" Thanks so much for sharing your life with the world!!

Is the town actually a renovated ghost town or one that was built for the camp? It looks like the kind of place I'd love to check out.
