Several months ago a neighbor at the far end of our street set out this old painted trash can. I thought it was kind of "fun" but I wondered if they set it out hoping the trash truck would take it away.It was never taken away and now I wonder why in the heck it is still sitting on the curb. If we were in an urban setting I might get it, but this is the burbs!
Of course if I had the choice to look at the striped trash can everyday over the boat my next door neighbor has illegally parked on the street, I'd take the trash can.

i'm with you, even it it's art, it's a little out of place in the burbs...cool picture idea though, it's not everyday that i get to see a trashcan in Cali. ;)
LOL...that's funny. You should go get a "1st Place" ribbon and tape it on there one night. Maybe he'll get the hint the the art exhibit has ended,LOL
cool and funny shot!
At least with all the dreary rain you managed to bring some happy colors to your blog. :)
Work from home India
Cool picture!
Fascinating.. at first I thought it might be a national flag but couldn't figure out the country. I like the shot a lot.. like Oscar (the grouch) dumped it and kept going..
Well, you got a great photo out of it! :)
Well yes I guess it is art :)
Actually, it might look pretty cool in a country garden with posies spilling over the edges!
Does your neighbor read your blog?
You just live in the wonderful world of color!
