Day 180 {Pesky Birds}

Snowy Egrets are beautiful birds to look at. But they are total pests when you are trying to feed the seals and dolphins at Sea World. Apparently they have no fear of going to fowl prison.

Day 178 {Personalized happiness}

When you give your child an uncommon name they become used to never finding any personalized items with their name on it. It never stops her from looking, and this weekend at a street fair she finally had success!

Kate and Reid tried their hand at making primitive stuffed animals. This was Kate's first attempt. Looks a little bit like a voodoo doll.

Day 164 {The Perfect Ballet Bun}  -- It took me a few tries, but I think I finally managed to perfect the ballet bun.  Not an easy task when your kid has a ton of hair!!

Day 165 {Fundraiser Roses} -- On Sunday a bunch of us got together to arrange roses for sale at the 8th grade promotion ceremony.  

Day 166 {Promotion} -- Reid promoted from 8th grade and Kate promoted from 5th grade today.  Thank goodness this is the last time we will have two ceremonies on the same day.

Day 167 {The Fair} -- A summer rite of passage!  I didn't feel like dragging around my big camera so I brought my point and shoot.  I was amazed that I managed to capture her (barely) on the swings.

Day 163 {Barney Say's.....Clean Up}

This is the aftermath of the 5th graders annual water balloon fight!  

After about 15 minutes of pelting each other with 1000's of water balloons they set off on the task of picking up every last balloon scrap!

Day 162 {Late Dinner}

Getting home late from a dinner with the PTSA girls.  

Reminder: get gas, change oil!

Day 161 {It's all in the shoes}

For the past week Kate has been zipping back and forth in front of the house on her older sisters skate board.  

After trying out some of the tricks she learned on Youtube she informed me that her running shoes were too "sticky" and she wouldn't be able to successfully complete any tricks unless she had the proper shoes.

So I present babies first pair of Vans!  

Now promise Mommy you won't break anything before Saturday's ballet recital!
