Last year if we had rain (during the waking hours) I made of point of making the rain a part of my picture of the day. It wasn't a hard task to accomplish because I believe it rained around 5 times last year.I'm pretty sure that it has rained more this week than it did all of last year!

I've seen them on TV, that it is raining with you so much, but a great image!
I especially like the gull in the foreground, kind of 'careening' off to the right.. and I love the crashing breakers. Wow, southern CA looks amazing--rain or no rain!

Hey is that San Diego? I was just there...Ocean Beach right? Thats a great shot! I kept trying to get photos of the pelicans in flight but didn't quite have my timing right. You got it though! Nice shot!
