I am the back stage director for the school performance at my daughters elementary school.
I am also in charge of costumes for several of the dance groups. I'm not feeling it this year!
But I found the hats for the 14 girls in one of my groups! Yeah! Now I need
to find the rest of the costume.

What's the play? The hat is intriguing and I just can't figure out what kind of ensemble it will eventually go with...
It is sort of hard to explain the school performance. But in a nutshell. The fifth graders put on a play and the other grade levels perform dances in between the 5th graders "skits".
The 5th graders also perform a group dance (we have four groups), a skit dance, have a speaking part and dance in the finale number.
Our theme this year is time travel. One grade level has the 1960's and 80's. Another has patriotic songs, another has futuristic type songs!
The 5th graders always get to pick any type song they want. So our song is one from the Disney movie Jump In. The dance has a hip hop edge, hence the hats.
