It is Saturday morning and I set out to look through every nook and cranny in my car for my battery recharger. Jim came out to help and within a minute he found the charger.........in the exact place that I had look (TWICE).

Day 232 {Green thumbing it}
Here are some of the flowers the girls planted. Believe it or not, planting the flowers was the girls idea. I let them pick out what they wanted and they did all the work.
Day 231 {Back to School shopping}
Kate admiring one of her new back to school outfits. Now lets just hope the pants aren't high waters by the time "coldish" weather creeps up on us.
Day 230 {Summer is flying by}
Soon enough labor day will be here and summer will be over for another year. The girls are looking forward to getting back into their routine and seeing their friends on a regular basis! I'm looking forward to some alone time.
Day 229 {Dinner}

Day 228 {Kitchen remodel stand still}
Here is a shot of where the kitchen progress sits. The concrete counter tops cracked so we had them removed and will be getting granite (3 week delay). The floors won't be refinished until the 7th of September (4 days out of the house).
So it looks like we have at least another three to four weeks before we are cooking in our new kitchen. Insert very loud G-R-O-A-N.

don't you hate it when something is found right where you have looked?! but glad you found it!!
When I was in 9th grade, my mom was having a pants suit made for me and the seamstress was across town...every time we went, the pants were too short! my mom was getting so mad and the poor woman until we went to the doctor and found I had grown 5" in a short amount of time! ha!
ugh! I still vividly remember my kitchen remodel....so sorry it is being delayed!!!

So sorry to hear about the delay on the kitchen. It will be so worth it when it's done though! Love the flowers and you are right about summer flying by. I can hardly believe it's almost September.

I know you were hoping to be done with the kitchen by now, cooking and cleaning in the garage sucks, but the kitchen is looking FABULOUS and will be so worth the wait!

OMG the kitchen. I love love love it and I need more pictures of it. This is my hope that you make a slide show or some sort of before and after show of the kitchen. I've stood in that kitchen and damn it looks nothing like itself :)
