Day 164 {The Perfect Ballet Bun} -- It took me a few tries, but I think I finally managed to perfect the ballet bun. Not an easy task when your kid has a ton of hair!!

Day 165 {Fundraiser Roses} -- On Sunday a bunch of us got together to arrange roses for sale at the 8th grade promotion ceremony.
Day 166 {Promotion} -- Reid promoted from 8th grade and Kate promoted from 5th grade today. Thank goodness this is the last time we will have two ceremonies on the same day.
Day 167 {The Fair} -- A summer rite of passage! I didn't feel like dragging around my big camera so I brought my point and shoot. I was amazed that I managed to capture her (barely) on the swings.
Day 168 {Summer Reading list}

I am impressed with that bun - beautiful! I like the picture on the swings too!
I've finally talked my youngest in to riding on the swing ride -- just in time to discover that it now nauseates me. -- Cool shot!
A ballet bun is far beyond my capabilities! Yours is awesome! Thanks for posting the summer reading list!
s
stunning ballet bun and a fantastic flower shot!
Congrats to Reid and Kate!
I totally want to read this Wally Lamb ... it is the only one of his that I have left to check out. And my parents have been raving about 3 Cups of Tea ... I have yet to read it. And I've heard lovely things about Kristin Hannah. The rest I'm not familiar with. Sounds like you have some good diversity there!
The bun is gorgeous, you did a great job...the roses are beautiful... the girls are beautiful (always)...I love the swing shot, really great for a p&s... and I wish I could finish Three Cups of Tea. I think I started it last autumn??!!
