Day 33 {FEED ME}

When it is dinner time the dogs will literally sit and stare at me until I get up and feed them. Xena (the big one) will nudge me with her nose if I ignore them too much.

Ok, now that the month has switched to February we can no longer count on the calendar to tell us what day of the project we are on.  I have to write the number down to make sure I don't make a mistake.  I made a mistake last year and it wasn't fun to go back and fix it. :)

I couldn't agree more! In case you can't tell what in the heck this shot is....it is my cat peeking out of our partially opened garage door (that is my car to the right).

The light is from the rising sun.

Day 295 {Field Hockey Win}

Reid's team had another victory today and she was the one that scored the teams only goal.

It happened within the first few minutes of the game.

It happened while I was heading to my car to get the backpack of one of the girls that was feeling sick and needed to leave.

Drats!

I went into my bedroom to make my bed. I almost had heart failure when my pillow moved!

Day 192 {So you think you can groom a dog?}

Friends of ours let us borrow their pet clippers this weekend, because at $95.00 a visit we thought that it would hurt to see if we could figure out how to groom Xena ourselves. This was what I saw after my husband had a go at her.

Reid and I managed to fix her up and I have to say that she doesn't look half bad. But I'm thinking that $95.00 a pop doesn't look that bad anymore.

I'm always surprised when I find out that my girls and their friends know about things like, freezing someones bra while at a sleepover. They froze my daughters bra.....with her permission!

Day 180 {Pesky Birds}

Snowy Egrets are beautiful birds to look at. But they are total pests when you are trying to feed the seals and dolphins at Sea World. Apparently they have no fear of going to fowl prison.

When you give your child an uncommon name they become used to never finding any personalized items with their name on it. It never stops her from looking, and this weekend at a street fair she finally had success!

Molly does not like to go swimming, but since it is hot out Kate thought that a dip in the wheel barrel was necessary.  I don't think Molly feels the same as Kate does.

You naughty little dog......I called the fence company today!  Your days of escaping into the canyon for a little joy ride are numbered.

For me, this shot was an unexpected treat.  Normally I would have tossed a picture like this because the movement was blurred.

Now I appreciate that the blur shows the movement!

I was taking pictures of the wet curtain blowing in the breeze when Molly popped up for a little look see.
