I have to admit that when we came back from our trip I was tired of taking pictures. We also came home to a kitchen in the process of being remodeled.
I didn't feel like being overly creative, but these shots certainly show what I have been dealing with for the past week.
Day 196 {Ewwwww}
While Reid was cleaning out her room she found some of those tablets you eat to see if you are brushing your teeth well. This was her result.
Day 195 {Really?}
Not only are we getting our kitchen remodeled but the city is putting the telephone/electrical wires underground. At 7:30 in the morning this was what was going on in my front yard. The jack hammering started at 7:00.
Day 194 {Cabinets on day two}
We are having custom cabinets built and this is what the frames looked like on day three.
Day 193 {Cabinets Day one}
The first time it started looking like a kitchen.
Day 192 {Temporary Kitchen}
Welcome to my temporary kitchen set up in the garage. Even though it hard not having a kitchen, this set up is working rather well. Let's see how I am feeling about it in two weeks!!
Day 191 {Bag of dust}
I try to look at all the tools and bags of wall stuff as my new kitchen......but right now it just looks like dust that I have to wipe down every evening.
Day 190 {Ready for cabinets}
This was the day after we returned from our road trip. When we walked in to see the kitchen looking like this we were in awe. It completely changes the entire feel of my 1950's house.

We went through this 2 years ago. It's worth it in the end!
good luck for the remodeling! Can´t wait to see how it´ll turn out!
Wonderful photos!!
I love especially the one of your temporary kitchen ... hope the new kitchen is ready soon!!
Hugs, maike
WOW...this is going to be so fun to see the end result! However jack hammering at 7 a.m., makeshift kitchen and dust..not so fun!!
Congrats, even though it's painful to be dusty, will be so worth it. Jealous!!
Love the temporary kitchen.
oh I so understand what you are going through!! we remodeled our kitchen in our last house. It was completely worth it but horrible going through it!!!
196 - Oh, yes, I remember that purple stuff when my daughter had braces. Has there ever been a child in the history of orthodontics who really passed this test? What fab eyelashes she has!
192 - I love that your board games have a place of honor next to the coffee pot! Now I understand why Kate went to the garage to get the popcorn! Can't wait to see the finished product.
