 I swear, kids are money pits!  Reid is now on the track team.  Which means new running shoes and spikes.  Money pits!

Day 58 {It's raining it's pouring....}

The title kind of says it all.  We had a strange day of off and on bursts of rain.

Day 38 - 40

Day 40 {Playing in the rain sprinkles}

 

All of you that live in places with real weather would have laughed your behinds off at us wimpy southern California's.  As we stood on the sidelines this afternoon watching our girls play soccer, we complained several times how cold we were.  Then it started to sprinkle!

It was 59 degrees and there probably wasn't enough rain falling to fill a thimble.

Day 39 {Ah, the smell of bleach}

  

I spent from 10:30 until 3:00 cleaning the house.  I took a picture of the scrubbed clean shower tiles with plans to shoot something different later in the day.  I forgot to shoot something different!

Day 38 {Ranch run}

 

The girls and I went with Jim down to the ranch.  Ok, I actually dropped them off and then headed over to the outlet mall that is 5 minutes away (I bought two pairs of really cute shoes).

But I did get back just in time to see them finish up brushing Rusty.  He is a very furry boy right now!

Day 18 {Let there be rain}

Proof that we don't always have 75 degree weather in Southern California.

It's gray, it's wet and it's really windy.

Don't the flowers kind of look like little traffic cones.

Day 216 {Wicked}

My sister treated myself, the girls and our mom to tickets to see "Wicked."

Reid got to see it on Broadway and raved about it.

It was a fabulous show. I took my Nikon coolpix with me so all of my pictures pretty much sucked. This shot of the chandelier in the lobby was the only decent shot I got of the evening.

We live in a rain deprived part of the country, so even the smallest amount of rain excites us.

This shot was taken as we parked the car before heading into the mall.

I'm pretty sure we got about 50 large drops before it stopped.

What a thrill! :)
