Day 129 {Happy Mother's Day}
Hubby had to go out of town this morning so after dropping him off the girls and I went to an art show then spent a few hours at the zoo. At the risk of being totally cheesy I am going to compare this proud peacock to my pride of being mom to my two girls. :)

My blue eyed girl. She is so sensitive to the bright sun that it is rare for me to get a shot like this.

Here is what the foxtails on the side of our hillside looked like just before I ripped them from the earth......roots and all. They are kind of pretty, but they are not to be ignored when you have a furry dog!!!

That foxtail shot is so cool and the peacock is beautiful!
My blue eyed son is also sensitive, so I know what you mean. This shot really shows off her eyes!
I love the flags too. I know so little about Cinco de Mayo but I can see it's a colourful holiday! I love the water droplets on the foxtails! But I can see that they and your dog might have a problem.
Plus, if a dog ever ingests a foxtail it can be really bad news! That peacock is a beauty (but it's a daddy peacock!) But I won't tell if you don't.

The photo of your daughter is really beautiful. The reason why she is so sensitive to the sun isn't it the colour of her hair? It looks a bit reddish.
I know my spanish teacher would be angry about this question ... but what is the meaning of Cinco de Mayo??
