Day 68 thru 73

Day 73 {Cool old stuff}

I love finding texture in every day items!  Any guess what this is?

***************

Day 72 {Seeing green}

Reid and I made a detour on Saturday and ended up at the St. Patrick's day celebration.  Since we weren't planning on attending the event we weren't wearing green and we kind of felt out of place!  Of course Reid has her built in red hair, which makes everyone automatically assume that she is Irish.

********************

Day 71 {Drive by shooting}

We had friends over tonight so I spent the cleaning and getting ready for our guest (boring shots). So on the way home from picking up the girls from school I quickly took a shot out the window!

********************

Day 70 {First track meet}

Reid qualified to run in the 4 by 4 and the 400 in her first track meet.  The 4 by 4 was the last run of the evening (hence the low light out of focus picture).  She was nervous, but considering they were put in a race with a mix of varsity and junior varsity, she held her own.

***********************

Day 69 {Dishwasher or storage}

Sadly, this dishwashers has spent more years as storage than actually cleaning dishes! I can't wait to get rid of it!

**********************

Day 68 {lighting}

Another end of the day shot!

I have projects (kitchen and life remodel) that I need to focus on which is why I haven't been blogging a lot lately.  I miss not visiting all my bloggy friends on a regular basis.

Hopefully I will be back into the swing of things and will be by to catch up on your projects!

Cheers and happy picture taking!

Wonderful insight into your day!

the first picture I'd say ... I do not know how it really is, in English ..... Egg-box .... a box where eggs are there?

1. Loved the green evening shot.
2. Dishwasher - Have you heard about the appliance rebate that takes place I believe on April 24? Dishwashers are included!
3. Congrats to Reid! Go, girl!
4. Nasty turtiums and Bogies - two of my favorites and I don't believe I've ever seen them together.
5. Loved that St. Pat's Day pic. Now you don't have to go searching for one tomorrow.
6. Hmmm. Do I see some grass tucked around in there? An old rusty garden tool perhaps?

love each of your colourful pictures and your new header.
congrats to Reid!
As Flohbock said... first I too thought it could be a egg-box - but my second thought was a macro shot of a brush

All these shots are great! I love the lighting on the plant. Yay for Reid! As for the mystery shot - My first thought was an old egg carton too, but I think the shape is wrong, so I just don't know.

Love the catchup shots.. I can relate in every way; except the kitchen remodle. Jealous! That's a great shot of the dishwasher, and I love the vignetting there.

I like the track shot, it gives a definite sense of movement; and I love the last (green shoots=Spring!) shot. Lovely.

You didn't make me hungry tonight. (:

Great photos!! Love your point of view!
I'm sure the first one shows a part of a pineapple, or?

And thanks for your comment on my blog. Seemingly my english translations are understandable *lol*
Big hugs, maike

That plant looks awesome! Looks like it is glowing. I made sure we all wore green, as the one thing my son knew about St. Patrick's day is that if you don't wear it you get pinched

You have so many vibrant greens in this set and it makes me very jealous b/c I was drawing a blank for my little team up project this week. I have absolutely no idea what your mystery shot was but hope you will email me and let me know. It is cool :) Yay Reid! I remember loving track in my early high school days. My dishwasher is broke. At least you are getting a new one :) Hubs has to be home more than 20 minutes to fix mine so right now I am our new one :)
Take care!

Okay, my guess on the mystery shot is a cog/gear wheel thingy on a bicycle.

(Of course that's the technical name for it...)
