This is one of my favorite mixing bowls, but at the moment it isn't housing anything yummy. It is holding ice water to soothe the burns I just accidently inflicted on myself.
As I was moving the pot of pasta from the stove top I accidently started to knock off a frying pan that was on the front burner. I tried to stop the falling pan by knocking it back with the pot of boiling hot water. Ah, not smart.
As a result I sloshed boiling hot water over both of my hands. It is mainly effecting my thumb and pointing finger as well as the wrist of my right hand.
It is hard to type with my wrist elevated. Boo hoo and ouch!
